League Rules

Southwest Basketball League is an affordable league compared to other leagues, in order to keep the league at reasonable prices parent participation will greatly be needed. The league requires that each team have at least one parent coach and during games have team supply a scorekeeper. Team managers are also welcome, if interested in coaching, scorekeeping or team manager please specify on regisration.

Below are rules for games and divisions

Bronze Division

10 minute quarters with substitutions every 5 minutes. Every child must play at least one half

There will be one three miute overtime

Silver Division

20 minute running half. Clock will stop only on time outs and the last 2 minutes of  each half.

each child must play at least 10 minutes

man to man defense in first half  zone defense and full court press allowed in 2nd half

Gold Division
